Welcome! I'm glad that you've found your way to my website.

NEWS OF THE DAY...
It's July 19, it's the Day Off, and I'm starting week 21 of a 35 week contract with the Stratford Shakespeare Festival.
We opened PETER PAN on June 12, we've performed 45 performances and we have another 65 to go before the show closes on October 31. There is a possibility of an extension but that has yet to be announced.
The response to the show has been very positive and the show continues to please both the young and the young at heart. Tickets are selling well and we regularly play to large, if not sold out houses. PETER PAN was directed by British director, Tim Carroll, and I learned a lot from working with Tim and his assistant director, Ken Schwartz. It's been a really good work experience and the fun continues!
Yesterday we began previews for the new musical (play with music) KING OF THIEVES with a book by George F. Walker and a score by John Roby; the director is Jennifer Tarver. KING OF THIEVES is a very loose adaptation of John Gay's Beggar's Opera, set in a 1928 New York speakeasy.
FBI Agent Brown blackmails Peachum and Mac into "framing" three corrupt Bankers (are they any other kind? lol) who are about to tumble the world economy; I play Halliwell, one of the three bankers. The show opens on August 12 after 9 or 10 previews and plays through September 18 at the intimate Studio Theatre at the back of the Avon Theatre. Tickets are going so well they have added three performances on September 1, 4 & 10.
If you'd like to know more about my time in Stratford please drop me a line and I'll send you a copy of the recent Issue of Scott Talk, which contains an ongoing article titled "Scott's Excellent Stratford Adventure". I'm here in Stratford through October 31st; for show dates and times please go to http://www.stratfordshakespearefestival.com and click on the Calendar for each show of the season.
By the way... it's already shaping up to be a terrific season and many performances are proving to be very popular.

Here is a short "guide" to help you navigate around the various pages of information:
OPPORTUNITIES is a page devoted to information about the Workshops, Classes and/or Projects with which I'm currently involved. While I'm working in Stratford I am not offering any classes or workshops, but when I return to Barrie I hope to be offering classes through the Cingolani Academy of Music & Performing Arts. When classes are confirmed I'll post them on the Opportunities Page.
THE ACTOR & THE DIRECTOR pages are devoted to my professional career. Here you will find resumes, photos, and my professional contact information.
LAUGHTON & I is a page devoted to the writing and performance of my one man show about the late actor, Charles Laughton. The show is titled LAUGHTON COMMON and the one-act version had it's premiere as the first half of a Double Bill in November 2006 at the Talk is Free Theatre in Barrie, Ontario. The Double Bill was also presented in the Studio Theatre of Theatre Aquarius from January 24 - 31, 2009. (Incidentally, Laughton Common was first workshopped at the Stratford Festival in 1993 and 1996 and I received two Tyrone Guthrie Awards to continue researching and writing this production.)
REIKI JOURNEY is a page about my first six years as a Reiki practitioner; I've now been trained to the level of Reiki Master.
MOSCOW 2002 is a page about my travels to Russia in 2002 to perform in the Broadway in Moscow production of "42nd Street".
AT HOME is a catch all page devoted to stories and photos of my life in Barrie, Ontario Canada.
