URINETOWN - The Musical:

Urinetown has now been cast and will be starting rehearsals on August 19.  I will be posting the casting in a few days.  Thank you to everyone who came out to audition; Renee Cingolani and I were very pleased with the level of preparation and some truly outstanding auditions.  The show is going to sound remarkable and we look forward to working with the cast of 19 who have accepted their roles.  Stay tuned!!

If you would like to become involved in another aspect of the production please contact the Producer, Bob Buckley, at bob.buckley@sympatico.ca

Classes & Workshops:

There are currently no acting classes or audition workshops scheduled for the  fall and winter but I am looking into running a series of monologue and scene study classes at the Moving Art Studio and Cingolani Academy over the next few months.  Please check back often for updates on these classes as well as workshops for Actors, Producers and Directors.

I am still offering private coaching in my home for those interested in audition preparation and/or monologue work.  The rate for private coaching is $35.00 per session, and each session lasts a minimum of 60 minutes.

Although I don't follow one particular method of teaching I am influenced by the work of Uta Hagen and Stella Adler to a degree.  I highly recommend reading Uta Hagen's book "A Challenge for the Actor" or her earlier "Respect for Acting".  Both give excellent tips on how to prepare yourself for auditions and how to create a role for performance or class work.
